The 14th of April 1927 the very first Volvo ÖV4 was rolled out of the factory in Hisingen, Gothenburg. Volvo’s first real success, the Volvo PV 444, came in 1947 and Volvo made quite a few very popular models after that like the Volvo Amazon/121 and the Volvo 240.
