Volvo Amazon/122

The Volvo Amazon, also known as the Volvo 122, was manufactured by Volvo Cars from 1956 to 1970. It shared the wheelbase of its predecessor, the PV, and featured tall posture and high H-point seating. The Amazon came in three configurations: a two-door sedan, a four-door sedan, and a five-door wagon. In 1959, Volvo became the first manufacturer in the world to offer front seat belts as standard equipment.

Outside the Nordic countries, these models were more commonly known as the 120 series, due to an agreement with the German motorcycle manufacturer Kreidler, who had already used the name "Amazon" for one of their motorcycles. By the end of production, Volvo had produced a total of 667,791 vehicles, which included 234,653 four-door models, 359,917 two-door models, and 73,220 station wagons, with 60% of them being exported.

VP Autoparts offers an extensive range of products for the Volvo 122 Amazon, and we are especially proud of our interiors. They perfectly maintain the original look and feel of these classic vehicles.
